Email Preview (RI-6594)

Ripple now includes an Email Preview option within the Email Template Builder.
This enhancement allows users to preview how a participant's email will appear when sent, using real participant data for validation.

From the Email Template Builder, simply select “Email Preview” at the bottom of the email modal (box), search for a participant, and open the preview in a separate browser tab.

Key Details:

• The preview does not send an actual email.

• It displays a fully rendered version of the message for review.

• Ideal for validating merge tags, including those used within URLs.

Bug Fix: Multi-Select Drop-Down Question Scroll Issues (RI-6580)

Fixed an issue where INTERNAL users completing surveys were unable to scroll through the list of options in multi-select drop-down questions. Scrolling now functions as expected, allowing all available response options to be viewed and selected smoothly.

Bug Fix:  Hint Text on Multi-Select Drop-Down Questions Truncated (RI-6566)

Resolved an issue that caused the hint text on multi-select survey questions to appear cut off. The hint text now appears as expected.

Bug Fix:  “Import Family Contacts” Button Available Without Family ID (RI-6555)

Enhanced the user experience by hiding the Import Family Contacts button when a participant does not have a Family ID or related family members.

Bug Fix:  Recruitment Strategy Details Pane Remains After Deletion (RI-6554)

Resolved an issue where, on the Recruitment Strategy screen, the details pane for a deleted strategy remained visible even after the strategy was removed from the list. The pane now closes automatically upon deletion, ensuring the display updates correctly.

Bug Fix:  Opening an Archived Survey Causes an Error (RI-6552)

Resolved an issue where attempting to open an archived survey in the Survey Creator (both legacy and new versions) caused an error. Archived surveys can now be opened without issue for viewing, while editing archived studies remains prohibited.

Bug Fix:  Email Messages Truncated in Exports When Using Buttons (RI-6544)

Resolved an issue where participant email exports were truncated when the email contained a button midway through the message. Exported emails now display the full message content as intended.

Bug Fix:  Invalid Security Token Error on Login (RI-6539)

Fixed an issue where users encountered an “Invalid Security Token” error when re-logging into Ripple after timing out or logging out in another browser tab. Users will no longer see the error banner, and a hard refresh is no longer required prior to logging back in.

Bug Fix:  Survey and PDF Preview Issues (RI-6535)

Enhanced the Survey PDF Preview to display all pages and questions that are visible or conditionally visible, maintaining the same layout and numbering shown on-screen. Hidden elements remain excluded from the preview. Additionally, improvements ensure completed surveys viewed in the Forms Log reflect all pages and responses accurately, with navigation buttons matching the on-screen survey experience.

Bug Fix:  Merge Tag URL Encoding (RI-6529)

Fixed an issue where merge tags containing special characters or spaces were not properly URL-encoded in email and text templates. URLs with merge tag parameters now encode values correctly, ensuring survey links and other dynamic URLs function as intended and pass data accurately.

Bug Fix:  “Select All,” “None,” and “Other” Options for Multi-Select Questions Linked to Custom Variables (RI-6516)

Resolved an issue in the Survey Creator where multi-select questions (checkbox and drop-down) incorrectly allowed users to “Select All,” “None,” and “Other” options when the question was linked to a Custom Variable. Surveys containing these options would fail to save responses to participant profiles because these options do not exist in the custom variable. This issue has now been corrected to ensure all submissions save properly and users cannot add "Select All", "None", or "Other" options to questions linked to custom variables.

Bug Fix:  Typo Correction in Built-In Race Variable (RI-6508)

Corrected a spelling error in the built-in race variable option (“Black/African American”).
